BANDIERA CAMBIATA, SGARBO DI CALALZO ALLA MAGNIFICA

Suggerisce lo Zingarelli che le bandiere sono un’«insegna, simbolo dell’ideale, o dell’opinione a cui ci si ispira, per cui si lotta; simbolo pure della libertà, della scienza, del progresso». Le bandiere, aggiungiamo noi, sono pure un anello di congiunzione tra passato e presente un qualcosa «di pregio» per distinguersi, per abbagliare immagini di località, che pur con le loro peculiarità, hanno pochi riflettori alla propria portata. La Magnifica Comunità di Cadore, per tutti i comuni del comprensorio dolomitico, tuttora, è il «centro di gravità» permanente per quanti si vogliono «abbeverare» alla fontana della cultura, scoprendone i «segreti» di un trascorso che non c’è più, ma che ci ha insegnato moltissimo. Here's my response, published today by the Gazzettino January 20 :

Banner Cadorin, FIRST IN THE HEART!

answer willing to Mr Giuseppe Da Sacco who marvels of the alleged absence of the flag of the Magnificent Community of Cadore from the town of Cortina. Perhaps the reader has gone wrong in the town hall, or "let desire" (quote) is its focus, because I can assure you that this flag flutters always right from the balcony of my office, and was not replaced by some "glow" ( ?) the European flag. The flag of Cadore, however, before waving from a flagpole, waving in all of us, our pride and to feel Cadore in our daily actions. On the other hand, I agree with Sacco about the importance of the Magnificent Community: I myself have recently written to President Bortolot so as agents of courses for administrators or for young people to commit themselves to the community, being essential to be prepared and considered this a particular task to the Magnificent.
