CASA DI RIPOSO "VASCELLARI": RISPONDO AL PARROCO DI PERAROLO
Perarolo The parish priest of Don Francesco Silvestri writes today in the drafting of Gazzettino expressing its concerns about the forthcoming closure of the nursing home "Vascellari "Calalzo (see

His concerns, I agree with the mayor in pieno, ma oggi, coi tagli pubblici e la scarsità di fondi per i Comuni (il nostro comunque investe 300.000 euro nel sociale!), mantenere aperto un istituto che crea un deficit di 130.000 euro per 13 ospiti (3 da Calalzo) è impossibile. Per questo fin dal primo momento ho cercato una soluzione al problema, chiedendo alla Cooperativa Le Valli di prendere in gestione la casa di riposo, con un sostanzioso contributo comunale; al loro rifiuto, più che comprensibile visto il deficit che la "Vascellari" crea, mi sono adoperato in prima persona per trovare a quegli anziani (tutti, anche a coloro non di Calalzo) una collocazione in altre strutture. Questo per garantire un servizio e un sostegno alle families and guests, knowing that a few hundred meters, there are nursing homes, modern lines with less expensive than ours. To this day keep open the existing nursing home would reduce and weaken the social and other services for families that now they will be encouraged and supported.
