Esordio stagionale per il nuovo Black & Blue Pisa con l'esordio in maglia pisana dei nuovi arrivati Daniele e Luigi Pochesci. Molta era l'attesa per questo torneo e tutto sommato risultato positivo sia per il gioco espresso che per l'ottimo gruppo già creato con i due fratelli. Il torneo a squadre ha visto la compagine Pisana composta oltre che dai fratelli Pochesci anche da Stefano Capossela, Daniele e Lucio Indiveri fermarsi soltanto alle semifinali contro la pluridecorata Napoli padrona di casa con il risultato di 2-1.
