After a stagione meravigliosa, costellata da ottime prestazioni della squadra ed ancora migliori prestazioni a livello individuale, culminata con la conquista di Simone Bertelli del titolo di Campione Italiano e la presenza, per oltre un anno ininterrotto, di Daniele Bertelli al primo posto nel ranking nazionale, la vittoria in numerosi tornei in Italia ed all'estero, la convocazione in azzurro dei due fratelli per i Campionati del Mondo in programma in Francia i giorni 1 e 2 Settembre, la nostra squadra poteva già ritenersi soddisfatta. Invece, proprio dalla manifestazione mondiale, sono arrivate le vittorie più prestigiose di tutta la stagione: Daniele Bertelli Campione del Mondo Open Individuale, Daniele e Simone Bertelli Campioni del Mondo Open a Squadre.
